One of my favorite movies is Finding Forester; the tale of a young man who pines to be a writer, and looks to a reclusive old man, played by Sean Connery, to show him the path. In one scene, Connery instructs the young man to sit down in front of the type writer and just write.
When the words don't come, a frustrated Connery gives the boy a manuscript of his own. He tells the boy to copy what he wrote, until his own words take over, which ends up being a fantastic piece of writing, but also a major plot point in the story.
The point being, I don't know what I'm doing with video yet, but I enjoy it, and I'm emulating the style of some of my contemporaries until I can find my own style.
At least that's the plan.
